Alan Aldridge - perhaps the world's most prolific living illustrator and creator of The Beatles Illustrated Lyrics, The Butterfly Ball and some of the most iconic images of all time (including the Hard Rock Cafe logo) is producing a very small and exclusive show in Los Angeles this month. This will be a precursor to a huge gallery show next year (watch this space for further details on that). Here is the invitation:
It's at Mr Music Head on Sunset. There will be a chance to buy some very rare Aldridge prints, including some that have been produced specifically for this show. Alan will also be there signing copies of his book 'The Man With Kaleidoscope Eyes'. There is a private view on the evening of the 29th.
